High-Manganese Steel Lining Board For Wet Mining Mills

High-manganese steel Lining Board for wet mining mills are manufactured from high-manganese steel alloys and are specifically designed to provide wear protection for equipment such as wet ball mills, rod mills, and autogenous (AG) mills. High-manganese steel exhibits excellent work-hardening properties; under the impact and compressive forces of the ore, the surface hardness continuously increases to form a highly wear-resistant working layer, making it ideal for continuous wet grinding environments in mining operations.

These liners are primarily used in wet mineral processing lines for ores such as iron, copper, gold, nickel, and molybdenum. They effectively protect the mill shell by minimizing wear caused by the ore, aqueous slurry, and grinding media. Compared to standard steel plate liners, high-manganese steel liners offer superior toughness and impact resistance, meeting the demands of heavy-duty, long-duration operation in large-scale mining equipment.

The products are manufactured using advanced casting techniques and are available in various configurations—such as corrugated, stepped, lifter bar, and grate liners—tailored to specific mill models. These designs effectively optimize the trajectory of the grinding media (steel balls), thereby enhancing ore crushing and grinding efficiency.
